Woohoo! Drs did rounds this morning and they are talking about taking Jadon off the ventilator today or tomorrow! Praise God! I'm soooooooooooo excited! We will be able to hear my little peanut cry :-) Let's hope I will still enjoy those cries in a few weeks!
They did start breastmilk yesterday and so far so good! He is getting it on a contious feed through a feeding tube in his nose and he is only getting 1 oz every 30 hours. They are doing it so slow because some kids with DHs have trouble with reflux and they want to go slow and catch it early if he does. We are praying he doesn't! But if that's the only thing I have to deal with, I will take it!
